This corset comes completely lined in black polyester which provides extra durability and support, and protects the exterior fabric. This design includes a 5 inch modesty panel (lacing guard) made from the same beautiful burgundy brocade, with the same black polyester lining as the corset itself. Designed with 4 hidden garter tabs. Two sets (4 each) of garters come included with this corset - black with metal attachments and black with plastic attachments. Back lacing with all metal grommets for reinforcement and heavy duty laces for the strength and durability you'd expect in an authentic corset. Comes laced in a bi-directional fashion and includes
lacing and corset care instructions.
Please note that this is an authentic corset and is comprised of the highest quality fabrics, strong genuine steel boning and busks, all metal grommets and high-strength laces, and designed with multiple layers and panels.
You will need to "break-in" this corset the first few times you wear it to allow the fabric to mold to your body and hug your curves. We recommend that you wear the corset for only a few hours at a time for the first several wearings.
Sizing:
This corset is made for tight-lacing and waist-cinching, and sizing is based on the corset completely laced shut. Corsets should be ordered based on the size of your desired waist. We recommend that you order 4-6 inches below your natural waist measurements to allow for cinching. So if you have a 29 inch waist, we would recommend that you purchase a size 24.
Measurements: This corset stands 16 inches long in the front center, and just over 15 inches long in the back. A size 26 will have a 26 inch waist when fully laced shut. The hips will measure approximately 7-8 inches larger than the waist and the underbust is approximately 5-6 inches larger when laced shut. To be comfortable, the waist should be the focus point for cinching. These measurements and the streamlined lacing give the illusion of dramatic curves and a beautiful hourglass silhouette.
